We are a mother-daughter led team of family, friends, neighbours and equine pros based in Barrhead, Alberta. Since 2019, we have worked with our community to grow this amazing, versatile crop for seed and fibre. With the support of our retailers and distributors, Iron Horse Hemp can now be found on shelves across Canada!

Simplicity:

Our mission is to provide natural and nutritious products free of chemicals, additives and fillers. From rehabilitation to top athletic performance, horses at any age, stage or condition can benefit from a clean diet supplemented with hemp seed.

Quality:

Hemp seed is a highly digestible source of amino acids, inflammation fighting omegas, gut healthy fibre, vitamins and minerals. To preserve its high quality, our hemp seeds are cold-pressed in small batches, without the use of solvents.

Traceability:

Our hemp is grown, processed and packaged in Alberta. Nutritional analysis, cannabinoid and heavy metal testing is completed regularly. Our products are tracked from field to shelf and registered with Health Canada as VHP’s.
